WORK/ PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Api is an artisanal honey brand born from the desire to preserve ancestral and sustainable harvesting practices. The project’s purpose was to transform honey from a common roadside product into a cultural artifact that speaks of origin, people, and place. The design draws inspiration from the jungle along the Strait of Angostura, where wild blooms give life to a honey unlike any other. Surreal illustrations were created to rescue scarcely documented endemic flowers, placing them at the heart of the visual story. In this way, the packaging becomes more than decoration: it is a tribute to the region’s biodiversity and a way of preserving it through visual memory.
