WORK/ PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The goal of Calentón was to create bold, vibrant packaging for a family-owned hot sauce brand that celebrates its deep Mexican heritage while feeling fresh and exciting for Gen Z consumers. Inspired by ancient Mexican textiles, ceramics, and shapes from Mesoamerican pyramids, the design features punchy typography, energetic patterns, and striking colours that match the fiery flavours inside. Every detail highlights the authenticity and craftsmanship of the sauces, connecting emotionally with consumers through cultural storytelling. The result is funky, memorable packaging that respects tradition but has plenty of personality, designed to stand out in a busy market and catch the eye of a new generation.
