WORK/ PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The name DŌMO comes from the Japanese words for "appreciation" or "being grateful". In English, it translates to "very", which in Spanish would be "muy". It's an expression that the Japanese use to demonstrate appreciation towards something and/or someone. The project is about a coffee lounge that features a specialty bar with cold brews and refreshers with a Japanese touch. Its logo is created from the letter Ō with its characteristic Japanese grammatical symbol, along with a slight touch in the center depicting a coffee bean. Its logo variations will be used in cups, t-shirts, tote bags, among others, including the interior design of the establishment. It presents a strong identity that offers versatility within its own essence.
