illo is a color-driven design studio focusing on motion design, illustration, and art direction. Led by the creative duo Ilenia Notarangelo and Luca Gonnelli, the studio aims a minimal and colorful aesthetic, translating complex concepts into clear, accessible storytelling. With an international team of 15, illo has worked with both innovative startups and global brands such as Google, Meta, Samsung, Apple, and many more.

WORK/ PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Inspired by the theme “design connects” and the idea of “connecting dots,” we created an abstract visual narrative that celebrates the collective nature of the design process. We played with DoorDash’s vibrant color palette, naturally aligned with Illo’s aesthetics, and combined flowing lines, expressive typography, and brand photography to ground the abstract feel. Both script and visuals work as a manifesto for the DoorDash Design team — showing not just what they do, but how deeply they care about craft, real human problems, and building experiences that support the local economy. Multiple voices complete each other’s sentences, emphasizing collaboration at the heart of the project.
