Robert trained as a photographer before working internationally in creative management roles for agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, JWT, Springer & Jacoby and Scholz & Friends. He helped develop and manage global brands including BMW, Jeep, Volkswagen and Samsung. In 1999, Robert joined Foote Cone Belding where he worked primarily in Asia, leaving the network after eight years as Worldwide Creative Director. In 2007, Robert was hired to setup and run a Dubai-owned boutique agency with offices

Driving Growth with its UK partner agency Ryze, refreshed the Dunes and Stars brand—refining its strategy, visual identity, and voice and turning it from an essentially hobby-based enterprise into a professional travel company. We brought it to life through a cinematic, conversion-focused website. Designed to attract high-end adventure travel consultants and end-travellers, the brand balances raw desert exploration with refined luxury, positioning Dunes and Stars as the ultimate expedition experience in the Empty Quarter.
