ABOUT THE CREATOR/S:

My name is Kim Tuyet (preferred by Katrina). I’m a graphic designer, who has experience with motion graphics, user interfaces, and book art. I’ve graduated from the School of Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), majoring in Visual Communication this summer (May 2023). I also achieved my other degree - Bachelor of Communication (majoring in Public Relation) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in 2017. Hence, I have a background in both strategic planning and art design.

WORK/ PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Death Tablet App is a team spec projects, in which we have proposed to turn Frances Glessner Lee’s dollhouse diorama (which developed from real murder cases) into an tablet app. Due to the limited access to the physical dollhouses, the aim of the app is to provide the virtual and covenient access to the Nutshell Studies, also help the user getting a general understanding of behind-the-scenes investigation process through various case of murder. The project is planning and develop by Katrina Trinh, Kang Seong Luoci Zhang and Yuree Jang.
