I’m a visual artist focused on creating characters and illustrated narratives. My main inspiration comes from Brazilian culture, especially Carioca culture, as I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. Its colors, rhythms, stories, and contrasts make me believe that daily life holds great creative power. WORK/ PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project started with the concepts defined by the challenge: the creation of five characters, each developed over the course of a week, inspired by the suitcases and backpacks designed by the school. Each piece had specific visual attributes, serving as a foundation for the characters. Yet, with every new design, I aimed to transcend these limits. My goal was to freely explore my creativity, pushing beyond expectations to create something unexpected and unique. With each character, I not only challenged my imagination but also brought to life figures that, though rooted in the same universe, possess distinct identities and stories. Each one is a piece of a narrative, both unique and deeply connected to reality.
