We wanted to challenge the stigma around the term research, which is often seen as something reserved purely for science. QCIF delivers digital research across three sectors — public, academia, and enterprise — which led to “Digital Research Cubed” becoming the core brand message, with the cube reflected in the logo to represent this three-dimensional, multi-sector approach. To address the complexity of QCIF’s divisions, we developed a colour-coded brand system that clearly differentiates each area while maintaining a cohesive identity. The website was designed with accessibility at its core; despite the scale and large volume of content, it feels clear and approachable.
