RUUM is a functional supplement brand formulated with adaptogenic mushrooms. Its purpose is to position medicinal mushrooms as a natural wellness solution, moving them away from psychedelic and pharmaceutical associations. Inspired by ancestral knowledge and supported by science, the brand uses a color palette drawn from mushroom tones and custom typography that breaks from traditional wellness codes. On the packaging, interconnected letterforms evoke mushroom roots, while each blend features organic type inspired by their irregular shapes. The illustrations reference Asian matchbox graphics, honoring cultures that have used these ingredients for centuries while expressing the human-nature relationship through a symbolic visual language.
