ABOUT THE CREATOR/S:
Though she has a BA in English, Carly Perahia (pronounced pa-ri-ah) was classically trained as a vocalist and spent many years performing on cruise lines. Upon returning to shore-side existence, she pivoted to graphic design at Shillington, where she discovered a love for research rabbit holes, concept ideation, logo creation, patterns, and packaging.

WORK/ PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The aim of the Sanderson Club was to brand the Sanderson Sisters as if they were proprietors of an elite, occult club in an imaginary sequel to Hocus Pocus – a fictional space conjured for dark magic and glamour. Inspired by 17th century letterforms of spellbooks and the Salem witch trials, the resulting brand identity is anachronistic, opulent, & cheeky. The sisters required a logo, collateral, & a suite of wallpapers; every detail is a spell in its own right, weaving narrative, symbolism & atmosphere into the club’s secret spaces.
