WORK/ PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

For this project, I designed a logo and visual identity for a proposed bid for the 2036 Summer Olympic Games, choosing Seoul, South Korea as the host city. This project is an updated version of a previous assignment from Professor Fathi Bakkoush’s class. The logo is inspired by the traditional Korean bat symbol, which represents five forms of luck and fortune, simplified into a modern Olympic mark. The identity is supported by patterns based on Hangul and pictograms with rounded, geometric strokes that reflect the structure of Korean characters. Special thanks to Professor Soohyen Park for her guidance and inspiration.
